About this policy
Superior Decorating uses Superior Decorating Office to manage customer information, prepare estimates, and maintain service records.
Information we handle
The app stores customer names, contact details, service addresses, communication preferences, estimates, and related business records. Staff account information is used to control access.
How we use information
Information is used to prepare estimates, manage service requests and jobs, communicate with customers, and maintain business records.
Google and Gmail connection
Authorized staff may connect Superior Decorating’s Google account. The app verifies the connected account and requests permission to send Gmail messages and attachments authorized by staff. It does not request permission to read the Gmail inbox.
The app stores the connected email address and an encrypted authorization credential so staff do not need to sign in again for every message. Delivery records may include recipients, message details, dates, status, and provider message identifiers.
Service providers
The app uses Vercel for hosting, Supabase for authentication and database services, and Google for Gmail delivery. Information needed to operate these features is processed by those providers.
When staff use optional price-list photo recognition, the selected image is sent to OpenAI for processing. Gmail authorization credentials and inbox contents are not sent to that feature.
Google data use
Information received through Google APIs is used only to provide the authorized connection and email functionality. It is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train general-purpose artificial intelligence models.
Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Storage and security
Business records are stored in the app’s database. Devices prepared for offline use also store customer information and estimate drafts locally. Stored Gmail authorization credentials are encrypted. Authorized users should protect their devices and sign-in credentials.
Retention and deletion
Records are retained while needed to provide services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, or meet applicable obligations. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion. Some records may need to be retained.
Deleting app records does not automatically delete sent messages from Gmail or recipients’ mailboxes.
Disconnecting Google
The connected account’s owner can revoke access through Google Account settings under third-party connections. Revoking access stops future authorized Gmail use but does not automatically delete existing business records. Contact us to request removal of the stored connection record.
